ADS Model 3600/3601

A permanent flow monitor for operating in potentially explosive atmospheres.

The ADS Models 3600 and 3601 are certified intrinsically safe for confined spaces requiring explosion proof operation and nominally operate in sewerlines from 8" to 110" in diameter. Battery powered, these models are designed to measure flow over long-term periods in open channel and communicate via standard telephone telemetry or wireless communication networks. The Model 3600/3601 operate with ADS Quadredundant ultrasonic, peak velocity and depth sensors and are normally configured in networks from 5 to over 100 units.

The Model 3600/3601 flow monitoring specifications for accuracy have been tested and verified by the EPA's Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) program.

The ADS Model 3601 is for North American application and has been designed to incorporate the majority of the modem in the monitor with only a pole mounted enclosure (DAA) required outside the hazardous area.

The ADS Model 36001 is for non-North American installations where the customer selects their own country-specific modem and deploys it in the ADS External Modem Unit (EMU) housing outside the hazardous area.

Features of the Models 3600/3601:
  • Intrinsically safe operation in Class 1, Div 1 environments
